To accommodate the Golden Valley Road Bridge widening project, State Route 14 in both directions at the Golden Valley Road Bridge will be subject to nightly closures from Tuesday, September 8, through Friday morning, September 11,. Additional nightly closures for the construction will resume on Tuesday, September 15 through Thursday morning, September 17.
During the construction, the northbound State Route 14 will be subject to closures from midnight to 6 a.m. and the southbound State Route 14 will be subject to closures from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. from September 8 to September 11, and September 15 to September 17. Both directions of the State Route 14 will never be closed at the same time.
State Route 14 traffic will be detoured utilizing respective State Route 14 off-ramps and on-ramps in each direction. Motorists who travel during the early hours through this area are advised to plan on slightly heavier traffic.
